Selfless Mom Gives Up Her Spot In Britain’s Got Talent Audition For Her Daughter

Claire Connolly is a sweet mother who was up for an audition for Britain’s Got Talent.

Her daughter, Tia, came with her to the studio to support her.

When she was already standing on stage, she told the judges about her daughter and said, “She thinks it’s me who’s auditioning.” As it turns out, she was planning to give up her audition spot for Tia.

For Claire, this was her way of thanking Tia for always being there for her. She said, “She’s got me through some very hard times in my life and I feel like I owe her, so I’m giving my audition up for my daughter… This is my way of saying she’s fabulous because she deserves it and she’s an incredible person.”

Tia was behind the stage with the hosts of the show when she heard her mother’s announcement, and she was surprised when she found out about the big surprise.

The mother and daughter shared an emotional moment on stage. They gave each other a big hug before Claire exited the stage to give the spotlight to her lovely daughter.

The judges did a quick interview with Tia before letting her sing. She admitted it was her first time singing in front of a big crowd, but her wonderful performance tells otherwise.

Everyone was awestruck upon hearing her singing voice. All four judges gave her a standing ovation in the end, and they expressed how moved they were by her talent.

Tia got four big YESes from the judges, and Claire was the proudest mom at that moment.
